VO: Atlanta is the fastest growing city in the country, and has long been the hub of a vibrant South- East economy. Now it is emerging as a national, even international, center for creative industries. (under 12 sec) Recent changes in the legislative support for the entertainment industry in Georgia have boosted the industry’s annual economic impact to over $8 billion dollars in just 8 years. (under 16 sec) Georgia State is at the center of this hub.
Like Atlanta it is growing fast, and has the vitality and diversity that makes it a hotbed of creativity and innovation. (under 11 sec) |

VO: It is an idea whose time has come. The College of The Arts at Georgia State University will start its development on July 1, 2016. (under 8 sec) The new College will bring together two existing schools, two programs, and two centers – all drawn from Georgia State’s very large College of Arts and Sciences. (under 10 sec) These include: The Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design The School of Music and its Center for Educational Partnerships The film program and its faculty currently housed in the Department of Communication The theater program and its faculty also housed in the Department of Communication And the Center for Collaborative and International Arts (CENCIA) (under 17 sec) |
